Lighting Plan | Cobra Museum voor Moderne Kunst, Amstelveen | 2009, part of long-range project 2006 – 2009
The lighting in the Cobra Museum had reached the stage of getting renewed. The original, non-dimmable fluorescent light lines have been replaced by dimmable fixtures. All mono light rails have made way for three-phase rails and individual dimmable spots with different lenses and honeycomb filters for an optimal, sometimes dramatic, object illumination.

The lighting plan was implemented in two phases and was inaugurated in the exhibitions ‘China Now’ and ‘Brave New World’. In phase two, for the exhibition ‘Neue Leipziger Schule’, strong PL and halogen wall washers have been mounted to better illuminate the walls and paintings.
