My Headscarf | Amsterdam Historical Museum | 2006
On a surface of 40 square metres, the large diversity in headscarves and the manner in which they are worn is visualised on busts and by photographic reproductions on windows and walls. Using audio-visual means one can see and hear what the wearing of a headscarf means to the girls/women. For some it is a statement, while for others a fashionable attribute.
